Took a break from composing and sound engineering to perform some Arab taqasim (maqamat nahawand & muhayyar) and 14th century French and Danish music at the local church tonight. Have a nice Sunday evening!

I love my job! 🍿☕🎥😍Dialog and sound editing/design, plus re-recording mixing for an online teaser almost done to be presented to my client.

New tutorial published on YouTube (link in bio) on how to use desktop finger drumming to programme organic epic drums in #cubase when you don't have a MIDI controller 🤓 personally, I haven't seen this input method mentioned anywhere before so have a look if you're interested. To me, it made a huge difference in how I approach MIDI programming (not necessarily as a substitute for anything, but as an added tool in the toolbox).

Finally seeing some progress with the first phase acoustic treatment (self-designed and calculated) and a new rack having found their new home. Still have some low-frequency axial modes to treat with future builds, but the math is agreeing with my measurements so far, at least. I haven't lost control yet, haha. 🤓💼☕ 💐🌿🌱(only found/repurposed materials except for the rack which I bought).
